For Clients

People seek therapy for all kinds of reasons — to feel more like themselves, to navigate life transitions, to understand patterns in their lives and relationships, or simply to have a space where their experiences are met with care.

Some of our clients come to therapy because they are:

  • Reconnecting with themselves after burnout or putting others first
  • Questioning identity and outgrowing old roles
  • Breaking free from limiting beliefs and harmful narratives
  • Seeking deeper connection and visibility in relationships
  • Loosening the grip of perfectionism and self-doubt
  • Learning to hold grief, anger, and joy
  • Growing into a more liberated, authentic self
  • Feeling ready for change but needing support to take the next step

We work with adults and adolescents of all genders, sexualities, and lived experiences. Our approach is trauma-informed, affirming, and rooted in the belief that healing happens not just individually, but in relationship — with ourselves, each other, and the systems we move through.

What makes us different: Gender, Sexuality & Sex Therapy

In addition to general psychotherapy, we bring a deep and affirming specialization in gender, sexuality, and sexual health. State regulations to not require therapists to have any training in these areas.  Many of our clients come in seeking:

  • Support around coming out or identity exploration
  • Greater ease, intimacy, or connection in relationships
  • Healing from sexual or relational trauma
  • Help navigating desire, arousal, or “what’s normal?”
  • A deeper sense of embodiment, agency, and pleasure

We believe that sexuality is a fundamental part of well-being, yet many of us have been raised in a culture that distort or shame it. Much of our work involves helping clients unlearn harmful myths, reconnect with their bodies, and reclaim their capacity for joy and connection.

We work with individuals, couples, and people in expansive or non-traditional relationship structures. Whether you’re unpacking early messages, navigating transitions, or stepping more fully into your sexual self, we’re here to walk with you.

Our Approach

We are therapists, but also educators, guides, and witnesses. Our clinical work is grounded in:

  • Anti-oppressive and trauma-informed frameworks
  • A belief in the healing potential of pleasure and embodiment
  • An understanding that mental health is shaped by systems — not just symptoms

We know that power, privilege, and marginalization shape our inner worlds. Our work includes helping clients name and move through the impacts of systems like racism, cisheteronormativity, fatphobia, and ableism — while reconnecting to inner sources of wisdom, resistance, and renewal.

Therapy with us is a collaborative process. Some days may feel spacious and reflective, others practical and change-focused. We bring a mix of clinical rigor, creativity, and deep respect for your lived experience.

Why We Do This Work

Feelings of disconnection, shame, or not-enoughness don’t arise in a vacuum — they are often reflections of the dominant culture’s stories about who we’re allowed to be. These stories are particularly harmful when it comes to our identities, bodies, relationships, and desires.

At Rosinski Therapy & Consultation, we hold a vision of healing that centers authenticity, justice, and liberation. We believe that reclaiming your pleasure, your power, and your truth isn’t just possible — it’s necessary.

We’re honored to be part of that journey.
