ABOUT ANDREA KREMER, LMHC (she/her)
Andrea Kremer is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts, seeing clients via telehealth. She holds a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a B.A. from Brandeis University.
In her postgraduate training, Andrea worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, from adolescents to adults, on a variety of issues including anxiety and phobias, depression, substance use, trauma, chronic illness, life transitions, relationship issues, infidelity, and divorce.
She is especially interested in working with relationships, as research demonstrates the powerful benefits of supportive relationships on overall health and well-being. She recently completed a 2-year training fellowship in couples therapy with the Psychodynamic Couple and Family Institute of New England (PCFINE), where she was introduced to psychodynamic concepts in working with relationships. She also integrates concepts from CBT, EFT, and the Gottman Method, and wisdom from leading systemic therapists, including Esther Perel, Terry Real, and others, as she tailors an approach to each client’s unique needs. She supports partners in rebuilding trust, improving communication, understanding and resolving attachment issues, deepening mutual understanding and intimacy, and moving toward a healthier way of relating. She welcomes clients of all gender identities, sexual orientations and relationship structures.
Andrea strives to create a safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming space in which clients feel heard and understood. Her goal is to help clients gain insight, overcome obstacles, have a greater sense of self-determination, and experience more joy and fulfillment. Prospective clients can reach out to her for a free 15-minute consultation to see if she might be a good fit.
Andrea is available for individual and couples telehealth services and can be reached by email at [email protected]
